When I saw the photography featured above, and read a little bit about the photographer I was reminded of Ratatoullie. The talent for photography is not in everyone, but can be in anyone. The photographer is in the U.S. military. It's not a place where a talent like that is expected to come from the military. discipline and straight headshots would be much higher on the list of expected things.
The lighting in the photos is really well done, and the composition is bang-on as well for the most part. Action scenes are captured really well. Overall everything is exceptional.
